EXALT PATENT Indonesia is registered intellectual property rights consultant and was founded on 2006. We provide services to support clients to get the right protection for their invention, idea and creativity which is covered through patent,trademark, industrial design, copyright, lay-out and integrated circuit design and trade secret.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Intellectual property rights are basically a very logical and simple concept. An achievement made by someone, which is useful of the community, receives an appropriate compensation. Only in such a way a conducive environment for inventions, creations, designs and other forms of intellectual property rights are private in nature. However it must be remembered that intellectual property will only have a meaning if it has been materialized in the form of a product in the market, used in the cycle of supply and demand and therefore plays a role in the economy.
Based on Indonesia Patent Law (UU 14 tahun 2001) :
Patent shall mean an exclusive right granted by the state to an inventor for his invention in the field of technology, for a certain time, to exploit his invention or to authorize another person to exploit it.
Based on Indonesia Trademark Law ( UU No. 15 tahun 2001) :
Mark shall mean a sign in the form of a picture , name, word, letters, figures, composition of colours, or a combination of said elements, having distinguishing features and used in the activities of trade in goods or services.
Based on Indonesia Design Law ( UU No. 31 tahun 2000) :
Industrial design shall mean a creation on the shape, configuration or the composition of lines or colours, or lines and colours or the combination thereof in a three or two dimensional form which gives aesthetic impression and can be realized in a three or two dimensional pattern and used to produce a product, goods or an industrial commodity and a handy craft.
Based on Indonesia Trade Secret Law ( UU No. 30 tahun 2000) :
Trade Secret shall mean information in the field of technology and/or business that is known by the public and has economic values as it is useful in business activities and the confidentiality of which is maintained by its owner.
Based on Indonesia Lay Out Design of Integrated Circuit Law ( UU No. 32 tahun 2000) :
Integrated Circuit shall mean a finished or hal-finished product that contains various elements, at least one of which is active, which are partly or entirely interconnected and integratedly formed in a semiconductor to produce electronic functions.
Layout Design shall mean a creation in the form of a three dimensional layout design formed by various elements, at least one of which is active, of which parts of or all off the interconnections in an integrated circuit and the three dimensional layout is meant for the preparation of makin an Integrated Circuit.
Based on Indonesia Copyright Law (UU No. 19 tahun 2002) :
Copyright shall mean an exclusive right for an author or the recipient of the right to publish or reproduce his work or to grant permission for said purposes, without decreasing the limits according to the prevailing laws and regulations.
